NYHSD leadership is comprised of an Executive Board and their respective committees. The Executive Board is democratically elected by all NYHSD members in the spring of each year. The positions on the Executive Board are Chair, Vice Chair, Communications Director, Political Director, of which there are two positions, and Expansion Director. Each member of the Executive Board is the chair of their own committee. In addition to these positions, the Executive Board has the capacity be expanded if viewed as necessary by the Board. In addition to the Executive Board, Regional Directors lead their areas of New York State and represent their respective regions in frequent communication and collaboration with the Executive Board.
